Influencing Skills (FULL DAY) . . .

The influencing skills training course is suitable for a variety of audiences, but particularly those individuals who need to regularly influence the action of others. We explore effective influencing behaviors, different influencing styles, power and influence and barriers and enablers to influencing.

Managing a Virtual Team (FULL DAY) . . .

Managing Virtual Teams has very much become a topic of conversation over the last few years. People are now much more likely to work from home, from their car, at alternative locations, or even on the other side of the world, which means managers might rarely see them. Consequently, managers that are asked to lead these virtual teams not only face the usual leadership dilemmas, they also have to be able to adapt to these challenges in an environment where the rules have changed. Managing virtual teams requires a different approach which means developing new skills, communication methodologies and techniques to get the best out of teams.

Marketing Essentials (FULL DAY) . . .

Communication Training

Assertiveness in Action (FULL DAY) . . .

Being assertive is being able to express yourself with confidence and without having to resort to passive, aggressive or manipulative behavior. By developing assertiveness and becoming aware of your own strengths and weaknesses, you can modify your behavior for greater effectiveness in social and business interactions. This session will provide guidance on how to become more assertive and build your self-confidence, whilst putting you in control of your daily activities and making you more able to overcome stressful work and life situations.

Body Language Training (FULL DAY) . . .

The purpose of the body language training course is to develop your skills in understanding your own body language as well as being able to read the body language of others. If we can learn to identify and appreciate non-verbal clues, we can begin to improve our communication as a whole. Effective communication skills are critical in the development of relationships between people and although verbal communication plays a large part in this, studies have shown that a proportionate amount of our message comes from not what we say, but very often the non-verbal communication behind the message.

Most of us have job roles that involve at least some communication with other people and the ability to question effectively is therefore important to all of us. Modern leadership is about having the skills to unlock the power and potential of those around you. It’s about bringing people together to achieve great results. There are three elements of leadership that the training will focus on, Personal Leadership, Team Leadership and Task Leadership. Success with Change (FULL DAY) . . .

This course is suitable for anyone involved in the change process in a business environment. Anyone that needs to increase their personal effectiveness through time management would benefit from the content delivered with this training course. Modern life is busy. With so many distractions and demands on your attention, wasting time is easy to do. That’s why improving time management skills has never been more important to your success. By the end of this course you will be able to recognize what prevents you from making the best use of your time, make necessary long medium and short term plans to help schedule and organize activities, control interruptions so they have limited impact and recognize and manage common time wasters.
